Assessment

“To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world” Dr.Seuss

Assessment is an important part of our job as we cater to your needs. A large part of our assessment entails reviewing the information you have provided to us and developing the appropriate strategies and intervention based on your needs.

As a therapist with a background in clinical social work, my job is to understand the individual using a holistic approach and a person in environment (PIE) model. We begin with gathering and assessing multidimensional information and using appropriate social work and psychological knowledge and theory focusing on a strengths-based assessment; combining your physical, psychological, and social health.

A biopsychosocial perspective focus on how you can become aware of yourself knowing that there are biological, psychological and social detriments to mental health.

Maintaining a balance in your life in all areas is essential to your mental health.
