PRIVACY POLICY
The relationship between a patient and a therapist is protected by law. Client’s information can not be disclosed without written consent, with the exception of the following situations:

The therapist suspects there is past or present abuse or neglect of a child, vulnerable adult or elders, for which the therapist is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities.

The therapist suspects the client is in danger of serious self-harm.

The client has threatened to seriously harm another person. The therapist must attempt to notify the police and the intended victim.
CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY
Client confidentiality is not only limited to the contents of therapy sessions but more often the fact that a client is in therapy. It is the required that therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals protect their client’s privacy by not revealing the contents of therapy.

At the beginning of any treatment, we offer clients an informed consent form that detail our privacy policy and other terms of service.
