A team building workshop in Belize gave Fabrigas Belize Ltd. employees an opportunity to strengthen communication, teamwork, trust, and problem-solving. The workshop, “Pressure Tested: Building a Stronger Team,” was facilitated by Azalia Gongora Larrieu, LMSW, CCTS-I of META Belize, in collaboration with Mind Unlocked.
Designed for 35 employees across different levels of the organization, the session focused on practical workplace situations. Participants worked together through interactive activities that encouraged communication, collaboration, and thoughtful decision-making under pressure.
Why Team Building Matters
The hands-on activities reflected workplace challenges where communication and collaboration are important. Employees participated in industry-specific exercises such as the “Safety First Pipeline” and “Tank Test Challenge.” These activities encouraged participants to communicate across different levels of the organization and work toward shared goals.
Rather than focusing only on theory, the workshop created opportunities for employees to practice teamwork in an interactive environment. Participants could observe how communication, trust, and problem-solving influence the way a team responds when working under pressure.
