On Monday, December 6, 2021, the Spouses of CARICOM Leaders Action Network (SCLAN) and the National Women’s Commission’s (NWC) spearheaded a panel discussion as part of their project on Engaging Men and Boys to Advance Gender Equality. This project was supported by the Spotlight Initiative, a global, multi-year partnership between European Union and United Nations to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls by 2030.

“The primary outcome of the Engaging Men and Boys project is to provide a space for sensitization of men and boys challenging views about masculinity and gender using role modelling and the positive deviance approach to transform attitudes and beliefs which contribute to family violence.”
