How I Can Help You
Between stimulus and response there is a space. Within that space, we have the opportunity to choose our response. Through our response, growth and freedom can develop.
My Work
Therapy that works!
Therapy is a scientifically supported process that can help people understand how their minds respond in different situations. However, many myths and misconceptions surround therapy and counselling. As a result, finding clear and helpful information can sometimes be difficult.
My goal is to work alongside you while helping you gain a new perspective on the problems you face. Together, we can explore practical techniques that encourage progress and positive change.
Professional Training
My professional training includes Crisis Intervention, Debriefing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Group Therapy, Self-management Training, and Mindfulness-Based Techniques.
Who are Clinical Social Workers?
Social workers aim to enhance people’s well-being, especially when individuals may be vulnerable. Across different settings, these professionals perform a variety of roles and specialized tasks.
Clinical social workers receive specialized education and professional training. As a result, they can support clients who are coping with difficult issues throughout their lives. Their work may involve assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention related to mental health, emotional well-being, and behavioral concerns.
Education and Support
A clinical social worker generally completes a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). Additionally, professionals must meet the licensing requirements for the region where they practice.
Counselling and therapy can offer valuable support when people are dealing with life problems. Furthermore, these services provide an opportunity to discuss concerns related to conditions such as anxiety or depression.
